I actually have nothing to complain about this week. Softball has been good therapy, and I am hitting, big time, this summer. After we've played 9 of the season's 15 games, I am 17-23 with 14 runs and 20 rbi, a double, 3 triples, and 4 home runs. I've scored 14 times and batted in 20. I also had 3 walks and a sacrifice fly. But all of that is secondary to the fact that we're winning big and crushing other teams...pitching well...fielding brilliantly.
There is no "I" in "team" and if I can help just by hitting, I'm glad to. I'm just hitting better than usual right now.
